Participation of persons with disabilities in international cooperation

The Committee recommends that the State party adopt measures to ensure the full and effective participation and inclusion of and consultation with persons with disabilities through their representative organizations in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programmes and projects developed as part of international cooperation efforts, in line with the Committee’s general comment No. 7 (2018) on the participation of persons with disabilities, including children with disabilities, through their representative organizations, in the implementation and monitoring of the Convention.
