Gender-sensitive crisis preparedness

Considering the weakening of important rights due to the pandemic, and the need to draw at a global level the lessons from this disruptive crisis, the Committee recommends that the State party draw up an assessment of the impact of the pandemic on women in the State party, gives a new impetus to gender equality , initiates new and innovative measures aimed at consolidating their rights and their empowerment in public and private spheres , including through increasing allocation of resources, with the aim of preventing, coping with and overcoming crisis and current challenges in a gender-sensitive manner.
