The Committee invites the State party to consider withdrawing its declaration on article 17(2) of the Convention and to ensure that fundamental legal safeguards are provided under domestic legislation, including in the context of armed conflict, in accordance with article 17(2) of the Convention and the relevant rules of international humanitarian law.
