Children – comprehensive policy and strategy

While noting with appreciation the services provided by local authorities, the Committee recommends that the State party increase efforts to eliminate regional disparities in service provision, and that any plans and measures to increase the autonomy of local authorities be matched with clear guidelines to ensure that services are of equally high quality throughout the State party.
