The Committee recommends that the State party adopt a definition of “victim” that is in line with the definition in article 24 (1) of the Convention.

The Committee recommends that the State party explicitly recognize in domestic law the right of victims of enforced disappearance to know the truth, in accordance with article 24 (4) of the Convention.

The Committee recommends that the State party ensure that its law broadens the potential access to non-economic forms of reparation, in particular restitution, rehabilitation, satisfaction and guarantees of non-repetition, to victims of enforced disappearance in accordance with article 24 (5) of the Convention.
