The Committee recommends that the State party conduct a review of the Execution of Sentences Law and the Regulations on the Execution of Sentences, as well as the associated guidelines from a gender perspective to protect women in prison against gender-based discrimination and ensure that their prison conditions are in line with the United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-Custodial Measures for Women Offenders (the Bangkok Rules).
