The Committee recommends that the Convention be incorporated into the Human Rights Act. It also recommends that the State party ensure that the Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act is in line with article 1 of the Convention and prohibits discrimination on all grounds, including race. It further recommends that the State party ensure coordinated follow-up among its ministries to ensure the full implementation of the Committee’s recommendations.
